This piece features a whole Ammonite fossil that I have cut in half and polished to a fine finish. Each Ammonite half is banded with .999 fine silver and both halves are surrounded by Sterling Silver twisted wire. The pendant can be hung from Silver plated chain, leather cord, or beads upon request. Please note: every Ammonite is different; colors and internal patterns vary from fossil to fossil therefore your Ammonite will look different than the fossil that is pictured.

Here we have a necklace showing off a total of three Ammonite fossils; the two on top are a pair cut from a whole fossil and the bottom is a single half Ammonite. Each piece is banded with .999 Fine Silver and all are hung with Sterling Silver loops. I like to combine fresh water pearls and Sterling Sliver accent beads when finishing the necklace, but I can also use other types of beads as well upon your request. Please note: every Ammonite is different; colors and internal patterns vary from fossil to fossil therefore your Ammonite will look different than the fossil that is pictured.

The Ammonite fossil is one of the most beautiful gifts that our Earth had to offer. These creatures were one of our earliest forms of mollusk, and were one of the most abundant creatures living in the Earth's early oceans. In the family of Cephalopods, Ammonites were predatory much like the squid is today, and grew up to 6 ft. across.
All of my singe Ammonite pendants are banded with .999 Fine Silver and can be accented with Sterling Silver solid beads, as shown here, or surrounded with twisted wire, or left completely alone. Please note: every Ammonite is different; colors and internal patterns vary from fossil to fossil, therefore your Ammonite will look different than the fossil that is pictured.
